Drawing Straight Lines
Straight
lines are lines parallel
to the x-axis or the y-axis. Straight lines properties as shown
below:
To draw a Straight Line can use the Command
Line, Press
Button and Pull Down
Menu.

If you use the Command Line, Type “line” or initial “L” at the command line, and than press <enter>,

If you use the Press Button, press
Line Button, as shown below:

If you use the Pull Down Menu, press
Draw Menu --> Line, as shown below:
Steps to make straight lines after
you use Line command are as follow:
1.
In the command line menu shows “Specify first point:” as shown below:
2.
Point
the cursor and click on the free drawing area or type the xy coordinates point (eg " 0,0 ") and then press <
enter>
3.
In the command line menu shows “Specify next point or [Undo]:” as shown below:
4.
In
the drawing area , the cursor can be moved freely . It is difficult for the
manufacture of a straight line . Therefore , point the cursor to move in the
direction of the x or y axis with the command " ortho mode " . You do it by click on the “ortho” button or press F8 on the
keyboard, as shown below:
5.
Move the cursor to the x or y direction (in Step -5 image
shows the direction of the x axis). At the command line , specify point of
the next line with:

Line length dimension from previous
point (eg type “35”), or
-
The xy coordinate point (eg type “35,0”), or
-
Cursors click on free drawing area.
6.
Repeat 6th steps to makes
the next continuous lines.
7.
After 3rd point of lines,
in command line shows “Specify next point
or [Undo/Close]”.

Repeat 6th steps to makes
the next continuous lines, or
-
Type “Undo” or initial “U” in command
line to cancel previous point of lines, or
-
Type “Close” or initial “C” in
command line to connect lines into first point, or
-
Press <enter> to command line
end.
Drawing Angle Lines
Angle
lines are lines has
angle dimension to the
x-axis or the y-axis. Angle lines properties as shown:
Steps to make Angle lines after you
use Line command are as follow:
1.
In the command line menu shows “Specify first point:”
2.
Point
the cursor and click on the free drawing area or enter the coordinates xy (eg
" 0,0 ") and then press < enter>
3.
In the command line menu shows “Specify next point or [Undo]:”
4.
Specify point of the next line with type “@”
line length dimension, “<” and line angle dimension (eg type “@25<30”)
5.
Next steps as same the straight
lines.

Steps to make the drawing above using
the command line are as follow:
1.
Type “Line” or initial “L” at the command line, and press <enter>,

Type the xy coordinate point is “0,0”, and press <enter>,
3.
Type line length dimension and angle
line is “50<30” and than press <enter>,
4.
Move the cursor to the x + direction, type length
dimension is”45”, and press <enter>,
5.
Move the cursor to the y- direction, type length
dimension is”50”, and press <enter>,
6.
Move the cursor to the x- direction, type length
dimension is”20”, and press <enter>,
7.
Type “Close” or initial “C”, and
press <enter>.
